TERMS & CONDITIONS
BOOKING AND PAYMENT:
The $200 deposit must be paid in full to confirm your session. The deposit will be credit towards your final package. The deposit is non-refundable but may be transferable.
The Client agrees to choose their package/products within 7 days of receiving their online gallery.
The Client understands that payment for packages and products must be received before their order will be processed.
Payments can be made via bank deposit or PayPal.
COOPERATION:
The Client ensures an adult is present at the photoshoot who is solely responsible for the child(ren) 's safety and supervision at all times. The Photographer cannot supervise or be held responsible for the Client's child(ren).
The Client agrees to cheerful cooperation and communication leading up to and at the portrait session. The Photographer does not warrant that it will provide specific images and shall not be liable if key individuals fail to appear or cooperate during the portrait session.
The Client understands that to avoid disruption to the photographic coverage and to allow the Photographer to fulfil her contracted duty, other photography by family/friends during the portrait session is not permitted.
TIMELINES:
The Photographer shall post the High-Resolution Jpeg Images (4500 pixels on the longest side, 15 x 10 inch at 300ppi) to the Client's online gallery within three (3) weeks of the portrait session date.
The Client will choose their final collection and finalise payment within 7 days of receiving their gallery.
The Client shall download the zip file of digital images from the online gallery and will not receive a physical disc/USB of images unless the full gallery is purchased.
The Client acknowledges that he/she understands how to download the images from the web onto his/her computer, including unzipping the zip file, and how to back up images to prevent image loss. The Photographer is not responsible for user error in downloading and saving final photos.
The digital files remain the property of the studio and will be kept on file for three years.
ARTISTIC STYLE & CULLING:
After the portrait session, each image is put through a careful selection process, where the Photographer selects images that meet her high standards of quality. Images with unflattering poses and duplicates are removed permanently. The Client acknowledges that the Photographer retains complete control over the culling and editing process.
Under no circumstance will the Photographer release RAW images to the Client. The Photographer selects the best representation of the images taken at the session for the Client's gallery. All other images are deleted during the culling process; therefore, no additional images can or will be released to the Client.
COPYRIGHT AND PRIVACY:
The Photographer retains the copyright of all images and reserves the right to use all images for, and not limited to, promotions and advertising. If you would like to keep the photos private, please notify the Photographer in writing.
The products the Client purchases (including digital files) are for personal use only. The Client is not permitted to use the images for commercial gain or enter into competitions. Images must never be scanned or altered in any way. Copying, screen captures or downloading images from the Photographers website/blog/social media pages is strictly prohibited.
HANDLING:
The Photographer is not responsible for the loss of your digital images once they have been delivered. It is the Clients responsibility to back up their images upon receipt.
The Photographer is not responsible for printing errors or for the quality of prints or products not printed directly through her. It is recommended that prints larger than 10x15 inch be ordered through the Photographer.
